Last time we stayed in club floor, the room was pretty fine without bathtub. This time we decided to compromise club floor for a bathtub. Room No # 419. The room was super clean, specious with excellent amenities. In bathroom, we did not find a drain between shower cubical and bathtub, due to which the water spills there remains stagnant. Our room’s house keeper Kabita Baro was excellent, friendly and helpful. She sounds new and all the best to her. In room dining experience was excellent, we ordered 3 fruit platter in the evening around 9:30 pm and it arrived at a lightning fast time. Thanks to the order taker and the waiter. Anise restaurant dining experience is excellent as usual. I would certainly wanted to mention few waiter and waitress names Shafi, Subbu, Suresh, Karina, Prabavathi, Parul, Jasphin Raj, Cyrus, Kuppu. They all are assert to the company. After breakfast, Subbu offered me Dhoni tea, but I was too full to accept it. Sorry Subbu, probably next time for sure. I met Chef Richard who prepares on the spot omelettes, I was pulling his leg saying, it’s been 2 years and he is still standing in the same place. Hope he didn’t mind. Worth to mention, Palani from Cake shop, he was very helpful and as it was IPL season, met Prabhu in Bar, I appreciate his integrity and loyalty. He adds great value to the company. In my next visit, I would be glad if a bottle of complementary red wine in placed.

Our recent anniversary celebration at Taj coromandel was a complete disaster.we chose this venue for its reputed excellence ,hoping to have a memorable evening,but what we experience was far from satisfaction. Upon arrival,our reservation was not honored despite having confirmed it multiple times .wa were left waiting for over half an hour,which started our evening on a sour note .when we were finally seated ,the table setup was disappointing ,lacking any special touches that we had requested in advance for our anniversary . The service was shockingly poor.The staff was inattentive and seemed more interested in attending to other tables .we had to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like water and cutlery.The delays were endless ,and our appetizers arrived cold clearly having been left out for too long .I would strongly advise against choosing this place for any special event ,as it failed to meet even the basic expections of good service and quality

Always a pleasure to be in Taj Coromandel, for the warmth and hospitality provided by the entire team. Ms Jasmin at the front desk, always has a pleasant and welcoming smile. Subbu Sir at the restaurant, on my request made his special tea, beyond its serving time, and again made me another special drink, to help me with my sore throat and cold, when he got to know that I was unwell. It is interesting to listen to his stories and experiences of 30 years of working with Taj. Mr. Suresh too is always fun to talk to and is ever ready to get me whatever I want. Unlike any other layover hotel that I stay in, Taj Coromandel makes me feel more closer to home, only because of the way the aforementioned people treat me and the very tasty South Indian food that I get to have there. They make me feel like I am part of their family, rather than just a customer.
